This is how I refer to the public part of my life, or my career, if you will. The Briar patch is one of the stories I first heard from Uncle Remus, and among others, like references to the TAR BABY, I have always thought of it as the truch behind any mythology. Of course, being of the mixed blood of blacks, indians and white in the Americas, Uncle Remus was a part of my heritage as much as any person.
